A New Kind Of Delivery Service
| Philippine Cycling
Wishing for better, faster deliveries? Here’s something to look forward to: Uber’s just recently launched a pilot version of UberRush, a delivery service that gets goods from point A to B within the same day by use of cars, and get this, bikes!
While it may not be made worldwide yet as it’s still only exclusive to three areas in the US, it seems like a good idea to have the service in the Philippines because of the fact that they make use of bikes. Whenever packages are sent for delivery, it should be able to arrive faster in spite of the prevalent problem of traffic in the country. What’s more is, well, it’s another way for bikers to literally earn while going about their ride.
Now consider this: even if you don’t feel like offering your services, Uber offers a delivery service that will be a convenient and cheaper alternative to business owners who need items sent out and received fast. What’s not to love about that? Perhaps the only setback at the moment is that Uber currently doesn’t have any plans of doing a peer-to-peer delivery—this is, as of the moment, only available in its first launch site at New York City.
So here’s to hoping Uber’s new delivery service works out well and expands internationally because, hey, you save time and money with this—or if you’re doing the delivery, you’ll be earning.
